In short, Site-Build It! is online system that helps you create a website that makes money.

It helps people with little technical knowledge turn their passion and knowledge into a thriving online business. (I started with zero technical website building skills and I have used SBI to build this site as well as my other site, Washington-DC-Travel-Guide.com).

More specifically, SBI! provides clear video training to walk you through the process. It also provides all the tools you need - including domain name registration, web page design, traffic analysis tools, and much more.

What I love about Site Build It! is that it helps you prevent a very common mistake - spending hours and hours putting up a website that no one ever goes to!

Site Build It's 20 hours of step-by-step video training and articles literally walks you through the process of online market research, selecting a niche, designing a site, writing to please both humans and search engines, and monetizing your site.

Who It's NOT For

SBI is not for everyone. Don't bother with it if you are:

• Looking for A Get Rich Quick Option: The system works but it takes time to create, just like anything of lasting value. The SBI mascot is the tortoise. Slow and steady wins the race. It takes time to register with the search engines and build content and traffic. The traffic snowball takes several months to get started, but the system works.


• Unwilling To Try New Things: If you don't like learning new things, SBI is probably not for you. To succeed you'll need to learn about e-commerce, websites, and computers. SBI makes it easy, but they can't do it for you. It's not rocket science, but it does require motivation and the willingness to learn and try new approaches.

Pros and Cons of Site Build It! vs. Other Web Services

Pros:

• Training: With SBI, you receive the equivalent of a college course in e-commerce. For non-tech people like me, this was a blessing. There is absolutely no way I could have built a successful website from scratch. Quite simply, I didn't know what I didn't know. Had I tried to build it using various tools, I would have wasted hours of time and a lot of money.


• Tools: SBI provides all the tools you need to make a successful website. This frees you up to focus on the content you're passionate about. Their tools for market research, website design, content creation, traffic generation, forum creation, traffic analysis, and monetization are excellent and easy to use. And they're all in one place. You could hunt and peck around the net for these tools, but you'd have to buy them individually and combine them. That would be extremely expensive, not to mention extremely time consuming and totally frustrating.


• Analytics: Every good business needs data to make decisions, and the Site Build It e-commerce system provides tons of ready made analytics. Cons:

Here are my issues with Site Build It:

• Marketing: I hate their hokey marketing. I know they need to appeal to a broad audience of people looking to work from home and make online businesses, but I think the bazillion long sales pages on their site is a little much.

  It actually took me a month to finally decide to buy it - which included reading SBI review after SBI review - because I felt their main sales page looked just like any other long-over-the-top Internet sales page. I finally said, 'What the heck. I can always just get my money back if it doesn't work.' (They have a 30 day money-back guarantee.) I was pleasantly surprised when I bought it how substantive it was.

  And also I was a little ticked off I wasted a month and hesitated because I thought their marketing was lame.

• A Lot to Learn: The other challenge is that there is a lot of information to digest. Their main Action Guide walks you through the basic steps. But, there's also a lot of extra information that's easy to get lost in. This phenomena exists any time you seek to master new material, and it's not specific to Site Build It. So just be careful to keep your focus and use one of the SBI coaches.

Conclusion:
I really think Site Build It is an amazing product. There's no way I could have built this website without it. The training and tools allowed me to focus on what I know best - the content. If you're at all interested in building a web-based business and working from home, I think it's definitely worth checking out.
